Yaskawa Electric (Thailand) Co. Ltd., (the “Company”) respects the privacy rights of individuals in their capacity as the Company's business partners. In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), the Company has issued this Privacy Notice to inform business partners about the collection, use, and disclosure ("Processing") of their personal data as follows:

This Privacy Notice applies to the processing of personal data of business partners. The term “business partners” includes prospective, current, and former business partners, business affiliates, suppliers, and individuals acting on behalf of corporate business partners such as directors, consultants, executives, employees, agents, and any other persons related to the Company’s corporate business partners (collectively referred to as “business partners” or “you”).

If the Company is required to collect your personal data for the purpose of entering into a contract, fulfilling a contract, or complying with legal obligations, failure to provide such data may result in the Company being unable to proceed with your request due to legal liabilities or other relevant consequences.

The Company may also receive third-party personal data, such as contact persons, supervisors, or coordinators. In such cases, you should inform these third parties about this Privacy Notice and obtain their consent where required unless legal provisions allow processing without consent.

If you provide documents containing sensitive personal data, such as religious beliefs or health information, as part of legal relations or transactions with the Company, the Company does not intend to collect such data unless permitted by law. The Company will implement appropriate measures to protect such data, such as redaction or anonymization.

The Company collects only the necessary personal data for processing purposes, categorized as follows:

  • 2.1 Personal Information: Name, surname, nickname, gender, photograph, date of birth, age, nationality, national ID number, passport number, government-issued documents, etc.
  • 2.2 Contact Information: Address, email, phone number, Line ID, etc.
  • 2.3 Financial Information: Bank account number, payment details, tax documents, etc.
  • 2.4 Sensitive Personal Data: Religious beliefs, health information, criminal records, biometric data, etc.
  • 2.5 Other Identifiable Data: Video footage, communication data, system usage data, etc.

3. Sources of Personal Data

The Company collects personal data through the following means:

  • 3.1 Directly from you, such as through procurement processes, contracts, communication, meetings, and website usage.
  • 3.2 External sources, such as the Department of Provincial Administration, the Department of Business Development, websites, social media, data providers, and affiliated companies.

4. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The Company processes your personal data based on legal grounds such as consent, contractual obligations, legal obligations, protection of life and health, legitimate interests, and legal claims for the following purposes:
